The purpose of the Act 104 of 2010 on the freedom of press and the fundamental rules on media content set forth in the explanatory part thereof is to set the most important principles of media regulation. The majority of the rules set forth herein have been adopted in former legislation, whereby certain regulations were applicable to all media and media content.
